I am in network with several plans for counseling, and I also see clients privately. We go over exactly what your care will cost on your free consultation call, before you commit to anything.

Counseling and occupational therapy are handled differently.
Mental health counseling
Plans I am in network with for counseling, and the states each one covers:

If your plan is not listed, counseling is private pay.
I can provide a monthly superbill you may submit to your insurer for possible out of network reimbursement. Whether you are reimbursed, and how much, is between you and your plan. If you would like to check your benefits before scheduling, book a consultation and we can go over it together.
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy is private pay. I do not bill insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill you may submit to your own plan for possible out of network reimbursement.
A referral from your child's pediatrician is required before occupational therapy can begin, and I can help you request it. Coverage for out of network outpatient occupational therapy varies widely, so it is worth calling your plan to ask what yours allows.
Payment and scheduling
How payment works
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and I keep a card on file through a secure system.
Cancellations
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice, and missed appointments, may be charged the full session fee. Life happens, and I use judgment, but the time is held for you and cannot usually be filled at short notice.
Documentation and administrative services
Some requests, such as disability and leave certification, accommodation letters, and records review, take clinical time outside of scheduled appointments. This work is billed separately depending on complexity. Documentation is completed for established clients as part of ongoing care, and full policies are provided at intake.
Good Faith Estimate
Because this is a private pay practice, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost. I will provide one in writing before we begin, and you can ask for an updated estimate at any point.
