Two Disciplines. One Mission.

Leonice Ferreira brings a rare combination of credentials to her practice: a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University, plus more than seven years of hands-on clinical experience across pediatrics, home health, acute rehabilitation, and early intervention.

Her journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Cambridge College, where she developed a deep commitment to serving diverse communities. That foundation grew into two distinct but deeply connected clinical identities as a mental health counselor who helps adults process trauma, grief, and life transitions, and as an occupational therapist who helps children, adults, and older adults live more independently and fully.

Leonice is currently completing her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) at Baylor University (graduating December 2026), deepening her expertise in evidence-based practice and program development. She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish, a reflection of her commitment to culturally and linguistically responsive care.

Whether she is working with a child navigating sensory challenges, an adult processing a difficult life transition, or an older adult planning to age safely at home, Leonice brings the same qualities to every session: clinical rigor, genuine warmth, and an unwavering belief in each person's capacity for growth.
