Adult ADHD and executive functioning
Knowing exactly what you need to do and being unable to start. Time that disappears, systems that work for two weeks, and the exhaustion of compensating for it all day.
Mental health counseling for adults
Life doesn't always fall apart all at once. Sometimes it's a slow shift. You keep showing up for work, for family, and for everyone else, but somewhere along the way, you stop feeling like yourself. Therapy can help you understand what's changed and find a way forward.

"Everyone thinks I'm doing fine. I'm the one people come to."
"I'm tired in a way that sleeping doesn't fix."
"I can handle the big things. It's the ordinary days that overwhelm me."
"I keep waiting to feel like myself again, and I'm not sure when I stopped."
"I know my patterns. Knowing hasn't been enough to change them."
"Something changed. A job, a move, a relationship, a loss. I still don't feel like I've found my footing."
If any of this feels familiar, therapy can help. Together, we'll work to understand what's been keeping you stuck, make sense of the patterns that no longer serve you, and find practical ways to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, challenged when it's helpful, and supported as you make meaningful changes in your life.
Most of what comes into this room falls into one of these.
Knowing exactly what you need to do and being unable to start. Time that disappears, systems that work for two weeks, and the exhaustion of compensating for it all day.
Worry that runs constantly in the background, difficulty switching off, a body that stays braced even when nothing is wrong.
Exhaustion that rest doesn't resolve, resentment toward things you used to care about, and the sense of running on obligation.
Heaviness that doesn't lift, losing interest in things that used to matter, and days that take more effort than they should. Sometimes it looks like sadness. Often it just looks like going through the motions.
Loss of a person, a relationship, a version of your life, or a future you had assumed. Grief that doesn't follow the timeline people expect.
Recovery from domestic violence, coercive control, or emotional abuse, including the parts that don't end when the relationship does. Rebuilding trust in your own judgment, and deciding at your own pace what comes next.
Patterns that repeat across relationships, difficulty saying no, and the cost of being the person who holds things together.
A standard you'd never hold anyone else to, and the exhaustion of never quite meeting it.
A new role, a move, a relationship shift, becoming a parent, or an ending you didn't choose. The ground moved and you're still finding footing.
Fifteen minutes by phone or video, at no cost. You tell me what is going on, I tell you honestly whether I'm the right person for it, and if I'm not, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
A longer appointment where we go through your history, what you're dealing with now, and what you want to be different. We finish with a clear sense of where to begin.
Usually weekly to start. We work on understanding what is happening and on what to do about it, in the same hour. You should leave most sessions with something to think about and something to try.
We revisit goals periodically and adjust. If therapy isn't helping, I would rather name that early than let it drift.
Saying this plainly saves you time and money.
Fifteen minutes, no cost, no pressure. We talk about what is going on and decide together whether this is the right place for it.
